Banque LBLux offers high-school-graduates who take their career start seriously, but still want to enjoy their work, the opportunity to do the Luxembourg bank apprenticeship (Emploi Formation) over a two-year period.

Taking up a qualified junior bank officer's position within the Bank after successful completion of the apprenticeship, with the best professional prospects and internal opportunities for further training

Your profile

• University-entrance qualification (Abitur, Certificat de fin d´études secondaires, Bac)
• Very good knowledge of German, as well as good English and French, both written and spoken; additional foreign languages are an advantage
• Ability to absorb information quickly combined with dedication and willingness to learn
• Meticulous and responsible work habits, good communication skills
• Good PC skills

The procedure

• 2-year period of apprenticeship
• 65% practical work, 35% theory
  • Active involvement in several departments of the Bank
  • Solid banking knowledge conveyed by the Institut de Formation Bancaire Luxembourg (www.ifbl.lu)
